Class Information
The School Day
Your start time is 8:45am, via the EYFS Playground gate
Your finish time is 3:15pm. Children will be dismissed from the classroom door.

7:30am - 8:45am - £5
8:00am - 8:45am - £3.50
Tractors After School Club
Avalible until 5:30 pm
PE lessons are on Friday
Pupils are required to wear a PE kit consisting of a white t-shirt and black shorts or joggers.
They will also need a sweater or hoodie and pumps and trainers for outdoor sessions.
Forest School Sessions are on a Monday
Reception children will be allocated a day for Forest school and are to come to school in warm, suitable clothing and bring a pair of wellies. School provide puddle suits during the winter months.
Lunch
Children in Reception Class are entitled to universal free school meals. However, we welcome packed lunches if you prefer. Please note, we are a nut free school and encourage healthy food choices.
Snack
As a part of our drive to be a Healthy School, all children receive fruit at snack times, free of charge. All children will receive a named water bottle which will be accessible at all times throughout the day.
Absences
If your child is absent for any reason, please contact the school office. Holidays are not authorised and where possible medical appointments should be made outside of school hours.
Contact Details
Please ensure all contact details and medical information is kept up to date and inform the school office of any changes. If anyone different is collecting your child, please inform the school office as we will not allow children to be dismissed to an unfamiliar adult.
Medication
Prescribed medication is signed in at the school office and stored securely. If your child is Asthmatic, please ensure we have an inhaler in school at all times.
Reading Books
Children will bring home a Read, Write Inc. reading pack once they have been taught the first set of sounds in school.
Book Bags
When starting in Reception, children will recieve a book bag. Please ensure that your child brings their book bag to school each day.

Weather
Please apply suncream before school and provide a sun hat during warm weather and warm clothing such as gloves and hats in the winter. Reception spend a lot of time in the outdoor learning environment thoughout the year and will go out in all weathers.
Parent Pay
We are a cashless school so you will be provided with a Parent Pay account in order to pay for trips, PTA events & discos and Tractor club. Please activate it as soon as possible and if for any reason you need to pay at a pay point, please request a pay point barcode from the school office.

Famly
Famly will be used daily within Reception Class to document your child's learning. Please activiate your account as soon as you get an email. We will be using Famly to share home learning with you and encourage you to share observations from home.

Free School Meals
If you are eligible for Free School Meals, please make an application. Even though children in Reception qualify for universal free school meals, school will receive extra funding.
