Forest School
Children Reception have the opportunity to participate in weekly Forest School sessions, run by our in house and fully qualified Forest School Leaders. Here they will experience using tools and toasting marshmallows on campfires alongside learning to appreciate and care for nature and the natural world. Children can explore the Gazebo, Dens and Log Circles we have on offer.
We also have an additional area designated especially for our Early Years children which they can access at any time of the day outside of timetabled Forest School Sessions. Our Early Years Area is set up for Forest Play – mud kitchens, den making, obstacle courses, digging patches, vegetable growing and water channelling are just a few of the open ended activities that the children can engage in here. We also enjoy snack times and story times in our log circle and relax listening to birds and watching clouds float by.
